The Vinyes per Calor project (2014-2017) located in the Penedès wine-growing area was a pioneer in closing the circle of biomass from the pruning of the vineyard. Three years later, it is still a successful case in the use of this type of agricultural biomass that until a few years ago was treated as a waste and not as a resource. Increasingly, companies and administrations are implementing multi-fuel boilers that can use this type of renewable energy source Km0, neutral in emissions and with economic, social and environmental benefits. The Power4Bio project (https://power4bio.eu) is developing a series of sessions to show the 17 partners from 11 countries, experiences to increase regional capacity and activate the bioeconomy of these regions.
